Laura Jennings gives each character its uniqueness and each accent and emotion came through wonderfully. It’s heartbreaking yet triumphant….like a warm embrace after a long battle. It’s also a tale of family love, friendships, faith, loyalties, and forgiveness. I don’t want to give the story away but this is more than just a romantic clean love story that transcends all boundaries. The level of forgiveness that is shown in this story is overwhelming and begs us to question our own depth and ability to forgive others. Instead, they put their faith in God to help them through any difficulties. These characters have faults, endure many hardships yet they don’t pass judgment on others. The characters are written beautifully and there is a “trueness” about them.
This story is gripping from the beginning and ends with an endearing sense of awe. She definitely has the gift of story telling as well as an exceptional gift of writing with emotion.
